Patch List is Way too long

i try to update cosmos so i run the updater, it says the patch list is way too long. OK, so i go to the site and redownload Cosmos*****. same thing happens. went back and downloaded Cosmos Release and still patch list too long. someone help me
*edit* also, is there a way to make the "paper doll" that shows your equipment is broken pop up when running cosmos?
