Extreme Lag While Using Cosmos...

Whenever I am on WoW and am using Cosmos's mods, I get really bad lag, and it almost makes WoW unplayable, i don't have ANY other programs running except AIM and MSN (turning these off makes no difference). I am not using any non-cosmos mods, and I am using the newest release version of cosmos, I believe it is 2.15 or something. My specs are -

Windows XP Home Edition
200 GB hard drive
1 GB DDR SD Ram Memory
AMD Athlon Processor
2.4GHZ
NVidia 6200 Video Card
Cable modem connection
lynsys router

Does anybody by any chance know why I'd be experiencing this strange lag when running cosmos (its never there when WoW is active w/out cosmos)? Any tips, suggestions, solutions? Somebody please help me out here, thanks.

could be the router?

try disabling all addons and see how your lag is. if it gets better, increase your script memory size (on the addons menu of character select), since you have plenty (i run a lot of addons and mine is 172, you might try 96 or something? even that might be overkill for just cosmos)

172, yikes... So far it works fine with only 64 MB here :o

well, my RAM is my 'highest quality' part of my system (corsair XMS, cost me the same for each stick even though i purchased them over a year apart), so one day when my addons were having problems i said 'screw it' and upped that baby. fixed the problems right away too.

anyhow, I've since cut back a few addons that were having trouble so it's probably unnecessary
