I find the options frame in this mod incredibly hard to scan. Every single line contains the same, very repetitive text which makes it very hard to scan for the pertinent text. The alphebetizatin of options helped a lot, but what I would really like to see is the repetitive text and just have the name of the frame all by itself with the Reset option next to it. It could just be a check box to the left of the frame name and that is all I need to know. If that frame name has a checkbox then it's mobile.
Also, there is no inherent explanation for normal users (like myself) as to what constitutes a "Special Frame" versus a standard frame. The mod is organized into these 2 sections and I almost always have to scan twice b/c of this split up. Once in the standard frames (alphabetically) and once in the special frames. This is frustrating since I like the whole experience of finding the right options to be as quick and painless as possible.
Additionally, it is sometimes hard to know if a frame name corresponds to the frame I'm trying to get at on the screen. Some frames have very similar sounding names. With the anchors it is easy to see the frame and see what happens when you drag the anchor which is great. But for me I like to have only a few frames mobile and it's hard to know without repetitive clicking in and out to find which frame I'm trying to get at.
Thanks for listening. I do like the overall functionality this mod gives much more than mods like Move Anything where you just have to learn the frame names. At least this mod has a clue. :)

The ability to move boxes and frames around my screen to me is critical.
The continued development and perfection of this mod is very important to me.

This addon is also a must-use. Some issues with it though:
- If you reset a frame's position, it will sometimes not appear the next time it's supposed to (but it will the time after that)
- I agree with pail that the options menu could use some work (had to experiment to figure out what some of the options did)
- Some frames are still not movable (especially those of other mods, which is probably something MF has no control over unless they let it)

Been using cosmos since WoW 1.0. I love mobileframes but for awhile now there is a tooltip with Mobile Frames "Click to drag XXXXFrame. Shift-Right click for reset menu." And it follows my mouse?
How do I turn it off? I've searched and tried myself to no avail :(

This occurs anytime I move use MF to move the target frame out of the default location. It moves and works correctly for the session, however at next login, the target frame becomes unusable. The target frame is "frozen" and will not update info, and it is unresponsive to moving with MF. The only remedy is the "reset all frames" option available in shift+right click.
This does not seem to happen with any frame other than target.

Thought I'd post this here in case you miss it amongst other postings.
The problem = The interface disappears if map is up and you enter combat.
Ok, I've just done some testing and narrowed this problem down to the Mobile Frames addon. No other Cosmos addon causes this problem from the testing I did.
Quite simple to replicate:
Enable all addons. Create a gnome mage. Target a wolf in the starting area. Cast fireball and hit M to bring up the map. Once you hear the wolf hit you, hit M to close the map. Result = no interface.
Now, disable Mobile Frames and repeat the above. Result = interface still showing.
The same used to happen with AlphaMap and MapNotes. These were fixed a while ago.

MobileFrames doesn't hook ToggleWorldMap. Do you know why it doesn't re-show?

Sorry, no idea Karl. I have no idea regarding addon programming - I will one day, I keep telling myself :)
As you say. The other addons were having trouble because of the ToggleWorldMap hook. So, no idea.
Did AIOI hook ToggleWorldMap ? As this addon had the same fault.

Karl, a discussion is going on about this on this thread : UI randomly wipes (http://www.cosmosui.org/showthread.php?t=56117)
You probably have already seen it, but just in case :p

This apparently just disappeared from Cosmos. At least on my last download. Is this still part of Cosmos or is there another application in use?

It's been removed and replaced by FluidFrames.
