What mods?

could someone give me a list of mods that are usefull to me i have an alliance druid and an alliance palladin and i want to know what to use ive used cosmos before but never really knew what was what and what was good or what was bad.

it depends on you paying style. first, you must ask yourself "what things about the blizzard UI bug the crap out of me?"
then you turn on quickloot, and it sort of snowballs from there ;)

but if there's anything specific you might think of (extra bars, smart casting) feel free to mention them and maybe someone here can suggest some settings.

For me it's actually interesting to see so many people find QuickLoot useful, or even essential. Personally, it annoys the hell out of me. Having a window jump up in random locations on my screen freaks me out :-)

I use shift+L-click to auto-loot everything, with a quick glance at the known (fixed) location of the loot window as it loots it. Or with a quick glance at the resulting chat log. For me it's a reflexive action to look for the loot window in top left, where it always pops up. When I turned up QuickLoot, I had too keep looking for the window :D I guess this is because I never make decisions about whether to loot something or not. At best I occasionally throw stuff out of bag if I don't need it, but I always loot everything.

Having said that, of course we are here to please, and I am glad that so many people find this feature useful, or even essential. To everyone their own.
