How useful is it to have libraries in this list? Khaos, OK, but there's Sea and Earth and all in the addon list and those don't have any direct functions, they just make other functions work.

delete the contents of the directories and drop a blank file called 'nopatch' into each directory.

Khaos is probably the best addon in Cosmos because it lets you control which addons get loaded next time, as well as providing GUI configuration menus for all addons that have Khaos support (e.g. Auctioneer and many of the Cosmos addons)

NOOO! I accidentally turned khaos off. now I don't have the config or anything anymore. I tried reinstalling cosmos, but no good. Please help! Oh yeah, when i run cosmos and enter WoW I get a little error icon on my minimap. i click it and the error says:

"Count: 1
Error: Interface\AddOns\MonitorStatus\MonitorStatus.lua:8 06: attempt to index global `Khaos' (a nil value)"

Enable it in the addon menu from the character select screen.

As for MonitorStatus it looks like it needs a Khaos dep in the toc...

Hey, How cna i get the khaos config to pop up while im playing the game so that i can turn some addons off and on when i need to. I tried using the bamaddonmanager but i can't get that to work. I can turn mods off and on when i first log on and when it first pops up but after i close it I can't open it again. Please help. Thnx

main menu, top option is khaos option frame, or in the earth feature frame there's a button or there's a key binding.

I have run inot a problem with Khaos. I removed sea becuase it was causing me to drop to login when in raids. The moment I removed it my Khaos button dissappeared and many of my Cosmos add ons configs changed. Without khaos I can't get to their configs. How do I get to the Khaos frame without Sea installed?

It is not possible to use Khaos without Sea. Sea also is not the addon causing disconnects, please search other threads, this has been discussed many times.

I updated Cosmos tonight and I can no longer get the Khaos menu. I have the minimap button but the menu that lets me enable and disable mods has disappeared. Any ideas?

To be specific I updated Khaos and MobInfo2. I always save my addons folder though and have now rolled back to my previous versions. Hopefully it'll all work again.

At the character selection screen hit the AddOns button in the bottom left.
Disable Khaos and its dependencies (Chronos, Earth, Sea). Click OK.
Go into AddOns again and re-enable them.

Thanks. I actually rolled back and it all seems fine but when I come to update I'll bear that in mind.

Do you also not see the Khaos menu when you hit Escape (thus in the main menu)?

I also do not see it anymore in the cosmos menu, but I do see it in the main game menu.

I rolled back to the previous version so I'm seeing both the menu button and the Khaos config button in the Earth frame. Maybe the idea now is to only access it via the main menu. Personally I prefer the version I have. If this is all deliberate rather than it being a bug I'd be interested in the reasons so I can make an informed choice.

No, you should have both available to you. I do :wink:
