I have a question about Baroptions. With my main-char I have both the sidebars on my right side. That is also what I want for my alts. But I can't find the way to configure it that way anymore.

Can anybody tell me how to do this?

enable the sidebars in the interface options (after hitting ESC) and then in baroptions you can pick different setups. also, you can move them by enabling mobility with mobileframes and toggling/dragging the bar anchors.

I would like to see added to Bar Options is something to set the scale of the bars.

Hey does any1 know how to make your bars invisible? Like so it becomes visible when you mouseover it? Advantages of it would be so u don't have it in you gameview when not using the skills.

Use the options called "auto-hide", either in BarOptions or in VisibilityOptions (depending on which UI element you want to affect). There should be an auto-hide option for almost all parts of the UI.

I am having problems with this one. I turned it on by accident and now I can't get the bars off of the side of my UI. How can i turn it off. The help file does not say how to do this.

Hit Esc and choose Interface settings. One one of the two displayed tabs there is a check box somewhere to turn the bars on or off.

As it stands the mod cannot be repaired due to the way blizzard protects bars from changing position / visibility / functionality during combat. The mod works right now on my test computer, except when you enter battle and then it completely breaks until you leave combat.

You gotta lurve Blizzards half-arsed thinking on this. Maybe if their UI was actually FUNCTIONAL from the outset, mods like BarOptions would not be needed. :evil:

Anyway, it does appear they are starting to get a clue since I noticed something interesting when in combat. Usually they have their little numbers in the upper left of each icon that change from white to red, depending if the target is in range. Now I see with buttons not in the 1 to = hot tray, have a small dot which serves the same purpose.

Thus it appears that Blizzard are thing to replicate the bar icon colouring issue, but why use a tiny hard to see dot??!! Why can't they just shade the entire icon like BarOptions use to do? IDIOTS?

I am seriously re-considering my purchase of Burning Crusade, if this is the sort of shite we will have to put up with in future!

It also now shows hotkeys for other bars in the buttons, and if a button has a hotkey it colours that text for range.

Prior to all the lates patching and the BC startup, Cosmos had the 2 side bar options. This is now gone in the current version. Does anyone know if it will be back soon or if there is a similar addon that is as easy to use?

WoW has its own sidebars, you can use MobileFrames to simply move one to the left.
