Goodbye!

Hello Everyone,

Its been a long two years for me here at Cosmos. I've seen so many great changes in both our program and our community. We've even been able to reach out to the Mac community and help make addons easier to use.

Our original mission - "more addons, accessible for everybody" has been achieved. People who've never used an addon before can run the Cosmos application and easily try out new things. As a result, the community has grown well beyond our individual reach.

Our continued mission - "addons, prompt and ready on patch day" continues. The success over the last two patches have really helped show how good this team really is.

However, my personal mission now takes me in a different direction. I have completed my college education and am now taking a full-time position at Red5 studios (http://www.red5studios.com) to help create newer and better games.

The lessons I have learned and the friends I have made won't be forgotten. Without your help, assistance and interest, I would never have become whom I am now. Cosmos users, I thank you.

KarlKFI // Anduinlothar will be taking over official leadership of the Cosmos team, as he actually has been doing for the past several months while allowing me to selfishly pursue my dreams.

You should continue to see nothing less than people striving for the best they can here at Cosmos UI. If you do - be sure to post about it. :-)

Dude, thanks so much for all your hard work. :D I'm unhappy that so few people responded to your goodbye. I registerd just so I could post this. Thanks for making everyone's game better for free. I'm glad you were able to grow and learn from the time you spent on these add ons. I hope Red 5 works out for you. I also hope more people decide to be unselfish and post their gratitude for efforts. Thanks again :D

It was unfortunate and very sad that u departed frm the Cosmos Team.

Some of us were unable to get the opportunity to thank you for all the selfless time and support you gave to us all.

I hope that one day you may be able to return to us, as there is a big part of Cosmos that is just not the same now.

So Alex, I just wanted to 'raise a glass' to you to say, thank you so much for being who you are and giving so much whilst demanding so little.

I wish you all the best for the future - whatever it may be.

I wish you well Alex. I've been a Cosmos user since the last wave of open Bata. I appreciate all that you've done for this kick butt mod. You've helped build a stellar Cosmos team, and although it is sad/happy that you are leaving, it's damn good that you've got the right people in place to make sure Cosmos remains Top Dog!!
