patcher hangs

i run patcher and nothing happenes. it just hangs up in windows. i have nto changed any thign other then my firewall but i made a rule to alow it to run but nothign is working but i nocted his befor i changed my firewall. also i removed my firewall and still does it
i can download the updare but then i have to go and reset all my setting in the UI againand its getting annoying so any help would be great

Sometimes it hangs for me too. I just quit it and try a few minutes later. That normally just solves it.

yea if i try it like 2 or 3 times then it will go and ill wait for v3 to arrive to see if that fix's it.
