BUT ever time i tell it to update it wantes to 1st replace the patcher wit the old one and 2nd it removes all the non cosmos mod even if they have .nopatch files and if i told the patch NOT TO .. may want to have a peek at that just a FYI .. keep up the great work

First part, just untick the box saying Cosmos***** each time you update and the update options screen appears (since it's not a proper release yet).

Second part, it does work fine for me and others. Have you checked the configuration settings? Have you told cosmos which mods to ignore? Is there a NoPatch.nopatch file in the Addons folder?

as I mentioned in http://www.cosmosui.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14105

When the new cosmos patcher runs it creates a master list of nopatch directories for faster loading and DELETES the nopatch files... then when it downgrades your old cosmos deletes your extensions because they no longer have a no patch...

Personally I much prefer the nopatch option, it takes a fraction of a second to load anyways... at the very least DONT delete the nopatch files when creating the master list...

you aren't a bone head, this is a bug, there is a workaround, but its not documented anywhere but the forum...
