This information is current for the ALPHA version as of 12/18/06 (which will eventually become the RELEASE version, but we're getting ahead of ourselves now)
1. The old /tloc command still brings up the coordinates under your minimap, however that is all that it does. It no longer puts a red dot on your main map. However it DOES provide instructions on how to use the new command.
2. The new command is /mntloc xx,yy or /mn -tloc xx,yy where xx and yy are the respective coordinates.
3. BONUS! The new /mntloc command not only puts the dot on your main map, but also on your MINI MAP!!! :D
4. BONUS! It appears that, unlike the old /tloc, the new /mntloc will actually only show the dot when you're in the specific zone where you set it! So if you're in Dun Morogh and set your /mntloc to 64,64 - as soon as you leave Dun Morogh (and head, say, to the Wetlands) the dot is no longer on the screen, aleviating confusion as to whether or not the dot is what you think it's for :)
All in all it's a great add-on to Cosmos, and a big improvement on /tloc!

Please see the following thread :

In summary :
.....
Q03 - Can I still use '/tloc' to show coordinates under the Minimap ?
|
A03 - '/tloc' can still be used to toggle the display of coordinates under the minimap. There are NO other dependancies apart from MapNotes itself, and this command will display MapNotes' own coordinates whether or not you have Thottbott installed.
'/tloc' is basically identical to the new '/mn -minic' command for toggling minimap coordinates.
Q04 - Can I still use '/tloc xx,yy' to place a Thottbott marker on the World Map ?
|
A04 - No. Use either '/mn -tloc xx,yy' or '/mntloc xx,yy'. There are various reasons for why I separated the toggling of Minimap coordinates from the creation of a Thottbott Note - see separate posting for details.
.....
P.S. I have not investigated all the old versions to confirm this, but as far as I could tell "/tloc" is a command that was originally introduced by Thottbott for toggling Minimap coordinates - I think confusion has mainly arisen from the fact that the "/tloc xx,yy" is NOT a Thottbott command, but is an 'extension' of the command that always required MapNotes - leading to some confusion as to what AddOns were required, and whether it was working or not - again, see the second posting in the above thread for my reasons for un-tangling these two commands.

People sometimes refer to locations with decimals like
" 53.4 , 82.1 "
Is there any support for these fractional measures in Cosmos ?

The latest version of MapNotes (Fan's Update) (i.e. v3.20.20003) now has a more forgiving /mntloc xx,yy command :)
This version was uploaded to Cosmos on 10th Jan 2007.
You can use decimal points, and you can also include spaces between the x and y coordinates. (I allowed for optional spaces because the first time I tried to use the command I formatted the coordinates as "x, y" and not "x,y" because I am so used to putting a space after a comma in normal written English...)
You can leave multiple spaces after the comma, or you can even replace the comma with one or many spaces.
Anyway, like I said, its a bit more forgiving of how people might format their Xs and Ys now :)

If you enable WorldMapInfo, then the coords will appear under your map.

Is there a way to store multiple sets of coordinates and have them appear on the map simultaneously?

Use MapNotes which allows you to create notes on the map depicted by dots.

I had to re-install WOW on my computer and lost all of my addons. I have no clue how to get anything back. I'm mostly wanting my cords back. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

Check out this link : How do I install Cosmos ? (http://www.wowwiki.com/Cosmos_FAQ#Where_do_I_start.3F_.28Installation.29)
If you follow the instructions. The coords should be enabled by default. If not, then at the character selection screen, hit the AddOns button in the bottom left and enable WorldMapInfo.

Thanks so much...I'll give that a shot. When I installed it again, it was a diff version all together than what i had before. It was the strangest thing to me. I don't have that addon botton anymore...so i'm hoping that this helps.
THanks again.

IIRC, until you install some addons, the AddOns button does not appear.
