Cosmos and WoW 2.4

Almost all of the Cosmos addons now work in 2.4 with two significant exceptions. Archaeologist and DamageMeters are being removed from Cosmos.

Archaeologist is in the process of being replaced by new addons: UnitFrameBuffs, Tweaks, and Texts. UnitFrameBuffs and UnitFrameTweaks are currently in the complete distro. Their options are in with the new blizzard ui options panel rather than Khaos.

DamageMeters needs significant changes in order to be compatible with 2.4 and needs a maintainer.

everytime I check the sea addon I get a actionbar problem and my khoas gose away if I don't check it what is wrong?

Going to need much more info like errors and exactly what the mysterious action bar problem could be. Can't just guess here.

when I check (sea) in the add on(where you choose what alt i am going to play) my action bar don't work when I enter the game. but I have khoas option when I hit esc to move stuff around. okay back to the action bar while I have (sea checked) everything that is normaly on #1 is now on #2 I can't click anything on the action bar but BT on rage nothing else. If I put every on my #1 bar still don't work and when I change stances (worrior) the stuff on action bar stay's the same what ever i have put back on #1 action bar. Now I go out (esc) and back into add ons and uncheck (sea) and reenter the game everything works like it should but I no longer have Khosa option. hope this help you understand.

Are you sure you aren't loading out of date addons? Sounds like you might have some old addon loading that is no longer supported. There should be no such issue as you describe.

I updated all my add ons with http://www.*********.com/addons/ I did nothing with comso but patch cosmos. Should I redownload cosmos? I also have my up date and ons checked were it list add on at ( were you choose a alt at).

Not sure what it could be. I am sure it isn't Cosmos, there are a lot of users and if this was typical the forums would be flooded. There was a misinstallation, out of date addons are being loaded, or there is a conflict or third party addon causing trouble. Double check all your addons and don't choose to load out of date addons is all I can suggest.

Hmm, yeah that might be it. I forgot people might not keep up on their updates.

ok i DL'd 'complete' and its seems to have less than 'core' in the file...
lists as being 4mg and the file im getting is less than 2mg...
i hate updates >.>

Hi,
I run Wow, add cosmos, got stuck, got NPCs not visible, got minerals not harvested, got all sorts of problems. I run wow's repair, it comes up with the start and asks for my realm, I get my characters back and no problem, just no cosmos stuff. I re-run add in cosmos, get back to problems. I clean/repair and add in another set of add-ins, and get the same symptoms.

I have added Grease monkey to my Firefox. Could this be a trouble? I would not normally think so.

But cosmos looks broken to me.

Usually the repair tool deletes any Addons, WoW settings and the WoW cache and then it checks only if the WoW files (__not__ Addons) are correct (there are no errors in them).

To install Cosmos download this (http://cosmosui.org/download.php?t=distros&f=Cosmos_Complete.zip). Then extract it to <YourWoWFolder> (usually C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft) and you're done. :)
