I am noting that the person who is maintaining the AddOns download page here on cosmosui.org removed CooldownCount and replaced it with Yarko's Cooldowns.
Yarko's Cooldowns is a fine mod. However, CooldownCount is still working fine (for me, at least) - not a single problem. Cooldowns relies on a "white list" - it applies only to those frames specifically listed in its .lua file. CooldownCount relies on a "black list" - it applies to every frame EXCEPT those specifically listed in its .lua file. This happens to be a behavior which I prefer. Please put the latest version of CooldownCount back on the AddOns download page. If you no longer have a copy of it, I will be happy to mail one to you. Thank you for considering my request, John H |

There has always been a link to it in my Cosmos addons thread, although the one currently linked is not the latest Cosmos version, but an more recently updated Ace version which is still old now.

Falconspirit- I'm referring to the addons which can be downloaded from this site:
http://www.cosmosui.org/addons.php Not your list of addons which you maintain here in the forums section of this site. |

I know, but my point was, the Addons page only listed (what was) the current Cosmos addons, of which Cooldowncount was no longer part of the package.
Hence the reason why it's not on the list, but Cooldowns is. It's for situations like those I had made my 'Previous Cosmos Addons' section, for those who were interested in addons they used to get from Cosmos, but it no longer supplies. |

For anyone who continues to prefer CooldownCount due to its "Black List" functionality, it can be obtained here:
http://www.wowace.com/addons/project-13709/ It has not been updated in a good long while, and it listed at wowace.com as abandoned. However, it continues to work fine for me with no errors and no tweaking needed (other than enabling the loading of out-of-date addons, of course). Yarko's Cooldowns addon is GREAT, and I recommend it. However, it relies on a "White List" and will only put timers into those frames specifically listed. If you want a nearly-identical addon which puts timers in every button frame EXCEPT those specifically listed in the .lua file, CooldownCount is a better choice. |

This morning I uploaded a new version of Cooldowns to WowInterface and Curse. I replaced the list approach so that all buttons with cooldowns get a counter as long as they are wider than 28 pixels. Works the way I wanted it to and saves me the trouble of updating for other add-ons.
![]() No plans at this time for a "black list". |
