Unable to get out of windowed mode

I tried deselecting the option on the Cosmos patcher and that did not work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn't work. How might I remove the Run in Windowed Mode?

The exact same thing is happening to me. I even looked in the registry but no matter what option I select the game will no leave windowed mode.

NOTE: Not a part of the Cosmos team.

Windowed mode is "started" by giving a command line parameter to WoW*****, but it gets saved in WoWs configuration file.

Basically, follow these instructions :

1. Go into your "WoW" directory.
2. Rerun Cosmos, and make sure that windowed mode is unchecked.
3. Go to the "WTF" directory, and open up "Config.wtf" in your favorite text editor (note: stay away from editors that change the file type of the file you're editing).
4. Look for a line that looks like this : SET gxWindow "1"
5. Change that line to look like this : SET gxWindow "0"
6. Save the file.
7. Rerun Cosmos, and launch WoW.
8. Hopefully you're no longer in Windowed mode.

I to am stuck in windowed mode. However when I went to alter the Config.WTF file, I was unable to open it. Happen to know of a text editor that I can download. Thanks in advance
